ER now runs more securely using Public Key Infrastructure (PKI). If your computer is located on a Department of Defense site or you already work with
DoD trusted web sites, just select the continue button below to enter the secure version of ER.
You are accessing a U.S. Government (USG) Information System (IS) that is provided for USG-authorized use only.
Continue to Secure ER
If your web browser doesn't trust the PKI certificate assigned by our system, you can:
- Install a DoD Root Certificate(s) that instructs your web browser to trust all certificates issued by the DoD.
These certificates can be obtained from the following public web page provided by the DoD. Installing all the DOD certificates will help with access to many
DOD sites.
If you are just interested in accessing ER, only the certificates labeled "Download Root CA2 Certificates" are necessary. For Internet Explorer and FireFox browsers, just follow the
installation instructions.
Note: This process requires Administrator privileges for your system.
Install DoD Root Certificates
After you install the certificates, If you see a window that says "Choose a Digital Certificate", hit cancel unless you would like to log in with your CAC card.
Unfortunately, CAC-enabled login is only available when using Internet Explorer at this time.
- If your browser permits, you may ask it to ignore the untrusted certificate or make an exception.
